Brilliant Idea, like British use to do during summers capital shifted to Simla, similiarly, any during any states election the national capital should be shifted to the State Capital. Sahebs will then not require to bunk Parliament etc.

What is this THE WORST YEAR thing ?

Has the moron compiled this article been measuring the effectiveness of functioning of parliament since 1950s ?

So irresponsible and so reckless in publishing important issues.

Just to show the government in bad light you guys will stoop to any lows.

Is the number of sittings alone decides if the parliament has functioned right ?

Poor article

The success of a parliament session is by the number of bills and legislation passed. In 2012 and 2013 there were virtually no bill passed due to the Lokpal dharna and opposition boycott due to multiple scams. Better do some research. Looks like the agenda of rediff and their ilk is to defame the current government.

Even if they meet, are they fulfilling their duties, country needs drastic political reforms but BJP is busy only for tax collection with creating terror, not free to take any other reforms.

A country full of scoundrels and thugs want reform .. First let our social reforms take place before demanding reforms on governance side.. Spitting, commenting on women, driving rash, least bother about others are some of our renowned traits.. A country where looting others money, suppressing income to avoid tax, 2nd hand transactions to avoid tax .. what else govt will do .. it will create terror only to collect cash ..Finance reforms like demonetisation and GST is under severe criticism even though they are good for the country ...It happens only in a country of scamsters and thughs like india.

In most indian cities, pollution is created by commercial vehicles like trucks, tractors, autos and tankers which are owned by powerful people or backed by powerful lobbies.. The traffic police remain blind to these people and they will stop cars and two wheelers and harrass them even knowing that these vehicles don't add to pollution.. Just because these are owned by middle class.. Such is the stature of our country and we demand reforms on governance..

In our country where citizens die driving on pothole roads, damage their back bone riding on bad roads, inhale polluted and dust full air , yet will fall at the feet of the netas out of fear of their muscle and money power.. That is the middle class of India for you ..

No solution is possible in this country where every one bothers about their caste, religion and about themselves.. A year ago I organized a group to protest against bad roads in our locality and within 2 days found that I am left alone only in the protest as most of the guys left the protest due to fear of reprisals from the local corporator who incidentally is a goon.. This is a middle class guy who pays tax and drive the economy lives in this country.. Unless the middleclass especially the educated ones raise their voice with unity, nothing is going to change.. Same goons will become corporator, MLA and MP and they with their kith and kin will control water supply, govt contracts and swindle our money .. Nothing is going to change..Look at a corporator in your area.. In 3-4 years of power, they build 10 houses for themselves, buy swanky cars .. No IT raid on them, no IT notices on them.. Only middle class gets notices and get harassed by everyone.. Even the govt is with them ..This is the irony of this country.. You can't live with dignity unless you are rich or powerful or a film or cricket star..
