While it is true, that State should not differentiate it Citizens on basis of Religions (beliefs, but the writer has cited Telangana as an example of State extending benefits to minorities, it has to be said all of India is not Telengana.
Secondly the bias of writer can be seen when he quotes " flesh eating Aghori", why doesnt he say "Meat eating"
...it is, indeed, very dangerous trend. The secular character of the constitution is being buried under with impunity. It is for every one us to resist this murderous move. They tried to change the selection committee for the Judges with the inclusion of the PM & Law Minister with the provision for a larger bite to be decisive towards the selection. However, the hon'ble Chief Justice thwarted it away. Congress should intensify the compaign with the former PM and Mallikarjun Kharge, Surjewala & the young leader like Scindia et al, besides, Rahul, Hardik Patel & OBC Leaders having alliance with it.
Modiji was accusing Nehru having attempted to stop the then President for preside over the rejuvenated Somnath temple, in some functions in 1951. Well, the ones in the Govt. should not take part in any religious matters is mandatory towards preserving secularism, that is enshrined in the constitution. Let that be left for the religious leaders. This was, obviously, Nehru's philosophy.
Now there are agitations and claims for being declared a separate minority religion.
For example in Karnataka, Lingayats are claiming to separate from Hindu stream just for getting minority tag and the related benefits. If this is conceded there would be more and more claims for being called a separate minority religion.
Privileges should be equal and uniform for all sectcions of society.

This agitation in Karnataka is a hand work of Siddu (Cong. CM) to split the vote. Cong has been following this divide & rule policy from Independence.
