RSS-BJP-Combine-Led NDA's Strong Corrective Mechanism
by rishi on Aug 23, 2017 05:09 PM  | Hide replies

.....Mr. Prabhu has set in motion some of the long overdue most critical reforms and improvement mechanisms in railways administration ....and now he offers to resign which is not in the interest of the Nation as it will hamper in taking the last three-years of relentless planning and execution of meaningful work to its logical results. The accidents should not have happened ....but then a minister would need to resign ONLY if her/his overall performance and public record is visibly negative, which is not so in this case, hence , I would not want Mr. Modi to consider the resignation of one of our tall stalwarts in NDA....and by all means, as the Minster in command, Mr. Prabhu is far better positioned than a new person in charge would be for the follow-up corrective action to avoid further possibilities of such accidents and to investigate and hold those responsible on ground in the latest accident.

Simple logic is if the Minister takes credit for good performance by employees/staff, he should be ready to own responsibility for failures, either by him/his officers or field staff! Why should a Minister inaugurate, say a platform, or station, which has been built by workers and blame the workers for failures?

It is unfortunate that the only and the Best Minister of the cabinet is thinking of resigning. Appreciate him taking the moral responsibility. No other ministers have the gut and will to do so. He is a right man with the wrong people.

The matter is not so simple.
There are many behind the scene... those who fear unemployment for another 5 years. The nation should be watchful against these activities to harm ordinary citizens.
