In Movies from 1970-1990s every hero worth his salt would stalk women singing songs to them. Right from Rajendra Kumar to dharmendra, rishi kapoor, govinda etc.
Step 1- Stalk woman Step 2- walk behind her singing songs Step 3- Tell your friends to molest her and then pretend to beat then back Step 4- She falls in love With you Step 5-Profit
And they made such movies only because of one reason - that the great majority of Indian commoners, especially north Indian ones, are stupxid beyond redemption and so would flock to see such movies !

Yes. Kerala has its share of dunces too !
Only, such dunces make up a far smaller (an immensely smaller) proportion in Kerala than it does in north India !

Just take a good comparative look at any of the numerous human development indices between Kerala and the rest of India !

Mallu movies are equally worse and so are the people, Believe me I have seen enough malayalam movies, In fact I was in trivandrum during onam and the people groping women in the crowds including foreigners was disgusting

you nailed it..But it hasn't stopped yet. This theme is still followed in low budget movies meant for so called B & C centres and in regional films too.

Its true,50% crimes on women,thefts& murders are learn by the culprits from the movies only.The portrayal of Hero as a supernatural who could do any nonsense but Girls/Heroine eventually considers them as romantic pranks make every boy to dream to expect the same from the girls he stalks.Better Directors start showing the naturality instead misleading the ignorant immature youth and commit crimes on women,feeling it as a social responsibility

Yes punish them heavily too. But that does not forgo this stalking in anyway
Basically we everybody stalking behind a girl in the early teen ages and you can say up to certain ages to get attracted and to get her noticed that I like her bla bla "But" stalking in mid night and in bad insane is different I thing you understood my view. Stalking is natural in many cases but it is bad when the girl is not liking it and her attitudes is negative.

That is only because a very large number of cine goers, on whom the success of such pulp movies depends, are far too stuxpid to understand that stalking only shows a lack of self esteem in the stalker !
Let's face it at the end of the day it's simple law n order .... let the respective IPC be made tougher so as to make more stringent punishments you will see a change ...for changing mindsets will take a century.
