You think our IMD is reliable ? If it rains for one day, they predict a weeklong recurrence. The first day is all it eventually rains.
If one were to depend on the IMD, he would be on the streets.
And by the way, any words of advice for people who repeatedly throw garbage on the sidewalks, right in front of the "Fine for throwing garbage" signboard ? That happens 365 days a year, resulting in clogged drains, while the rain line this happens once a year, or less.

That is also wrong..so do not heed to the warning of IMD and when rain creates issues, cry for it? Why? IMD is created to give out warnings and govt and its organizations are supposed to act on them..trying to hide their failure is also bad..though every govt in karnataka was a failure but I have some respect for SM krishna though he did not do anything for rural karnataka which nobody is doing anyway..

If Bangalore is unlivable in 5 years, chennai would have been unlivable long back due to water crisis. So stop this non sense.. Bangalore is way better than many cities in india in terms of its water availability record..The bigger issue is infrastructure and growing population within city .. No roads, pothoes, unauthorised humps and traffic jam.. Govt must focus on these .. Rest public in bangalore will take care themselves..
