The ambition to gain back Mughal Empire exists ;it is real however much camouflaged in secularism ,liberalism, tolerance etc. There is no willingness to accept an invader legacy as invader legacy:everything gets a spin around a religion though religion is spiritual and politics is what G.B. Shaw said,"the last resort of ---."How can they mix.Pak.mixes it so.R.PONNAMBALAM

The author is a learned and practical military man. His analysis is correct. Though our peaceniks want us to forget the past and be happy with love and brotherhood but unfortunately the Pakistani army will never allow this to happen. The only sensible thing in our control is that India remain vigilant and strong and be militarily prepared always against Pakistan.

Yes the slution lies in making our military strong enough so that no enemy should think of disintegrating India. We must develop best of weapons. For thta we must concentrate on giving more independance to DRDO and Ammunition/ DEFENCE MACHINERY manufacturing units of Govt of India just like those enjoyed by ISRO and DAE. Bureaocracy interference in these departments must be minimized.

The war and hatred from Pakistan as long as India is a Hindu dominant country. War is all about islamisation, the undone part of Mughal empire.

Don't bring your old foolish Vedic thinking here. Pakistan may be what it is you claim it to be but we in India can see where India is currently heading. Becoming another Somalia.

Another 20% increase in Muslim population by verities of conversion with tacit support of Communists and congressmen, we would be Somalia. I agrre with Inszy Bai.
Already 3 times we fought with each other. Let there be one more war, difference being use of tactical / miniature nuclear weapons and may culminate in higher tonnage. Is it the prerogative USA only to use first time and for the last time. Has Japan not withstood the onslaught and become an economic power? Same will be India. Sharpen your arsenal.
