Ex VP-Mr. Ansari has been quite objective & unbiased in this part of the interview without showing any type of political bias or inclinations. His earlier interview was reeking of political bias. When he was still to demit office as VP, such statements was really not necessary. I am not saying that as a VP he is not entitled to his opinion but how to put that opinion across which is in conjunction with the high constitutional position one holds makes a HUGE difference. Mr. Pranab Mukherjee while holding also criticised policies of the present govt & put forth his views on problems happening at regular intervals but it was always within the protocol & never appeared to be biased & reeking of political inclination inspite of the fact that he has been a Congressman all his life. Surely Mr. Ansari could have done the same instead of sounding so cliched & leaning heavily towards a political party.
If he wanted to vent out his feelings he could have jolly well waited 2 more days when he retired & then said whatever he wanted to say. What he did in the 1st part of the interview pretty much belittles his status as a impartial VP.
Venkiah Naidu's reverence for Modi is no less than that of Zail Singh for Indira Gandhi. However, as Hamid Ansari stated, all vice presidents had performed well and truthfully once they adorned the chair. I believe Naidu will not be an exception.
