Nehru single-handedly created the J&K problem (aided by or at the prodding of Lord Mountbatten), and rather than solving it, made it more complicated. The problem still bedevils us and costs us tremendously both in money and men. He did one blunder after another on J&K, and unnecessarily internationalised what was purely an internal issue by taking it to the UN, again under the influence of Lord Mountbatten, ignoring the advice of Sardar Patel

Patel was as strongly against the reference to the UN and preferred ‘timely action’ on the ground, but Kashmir was Jawaharlal’s baby by now and Vallabhbhai did not insist on his prescriptions when, at the end of December, Nehru announced that he had decided to go to the UN. Jawaharlal obtained Mahatma’s reluctant consent…

Rafi Ahmed Kidwai, although a close friend and a confidant of Nehru, had remarked: “…We should have absorbed Kashmir for good and all…I do not know where we are going. The country needs a man like Patel.”
I feel for students who are suffering because of the terrible security situation in the Valley. When young girls can indulge in stone throwing there is now no option but to talk to all stakeholders including Pakistan. They have to be brought on board otherwise there will be no solution in sight.

and I feel for the jawans who are suffering; and the taxpayers' money which is being wasted for the development of J&K where most of the leftover residents are brainwashed traitors. The people who really wanted peace and development left the valley, their business and their homes decades back (the kashmiri pundits).

Pakis. Get this clear. All govt agencies , media are trying to fool us by using word like 'misguided', 'alienated' etc. Unless they are eliminated our land cannot be reclaimed.

Why not eliminate those in the valley and take back what is ours. That the final solution. Otherwise there will be no end to this retreat demand as more and more areas will be populated by them in a matter of few years.

Today we dont need Karan or Raja Harishchad...we have to fight Mahabhrat to reclaim our land,what if whole of Kashmiri to be tauht a lesson of their life
Catch hold of all stone throwing students, girls & people and vacate them to the pakistani border and close the gate. if they don't want to stay with us and prosper its time to move them out of our country.shame on the J&K People they eat our food, breathe our air drink our water and yet they make trouble to us.
