People know what language they have to learn and why.The politicians need not tell us and have no right to tell us. We are not in Mughal period to loose our language as Sanskrit was lost .Is the Indian constitution in English or any other language. If you learn English and go to maharashtra, Karnataka r any-other state and ask for anything in english they won't care what you are asking and if you ask in hindi they won't reply you in hindi but they answer you only in Marathi or kannada; such is the situation in India. The reason is the political parties (both national and regional or parocial) have created such a situation. But they have allowed their childrens, grand children and great grandchildren to learn hindi but didn't allow the general public to learn hindi and destroyed some 2 or 3 generations and they still destroy the present and future generations too.

You are totally wrong. Karnataka is only state in the country/world where you can get away with by speaking any other language other than kannada

English, whether one likes to admit it or not, has become the de facto world language.
Even France, China, Japan and Russia, who were always sticklers to make their languages the equals of English in every possible respect, have long since started teaching their school children English !
Hindi ??
For a Keralite, how is it really different from Bengali or Telugu or Oriya or Tamil ??
For a Marathi, how is it different in any way from Bengali or Assamese ?

Hindi is urdu with a sprinkling of Sanskrit to give a religionward tilt and written in Devnagri script from 1867 People who want to have it let them have it.In south India if I think that the man talking to me knows English I talk to or reply him in English.If I think he might not know English, going by looks, I speak Hindi and to Bengalis , odhisas I speak Benglai. I am very delighted that BJP and RSS shall never want to send their kids and grandkids and great grandkids to USA ,UK or Australia and similar English teaching countries .Instead they would be ONLY studying at Gurukuls like Sandipani Ashrams where Lord Krishna and Sudama studied . It is a great news and I shall be delighted to see 100 percent compliance of this right away . Let us tell the World that Our Gurukuls can match the best educational Institutes and therefore they may deputy their wards to India now as was the story in past when Takshila was the seat of learning for the World.Well done , BJP and RSS fir restoring the glory that we had lost .Vande Matram.

British has systematically destroyed Indian and especially the Hindu culture. They tweaked the history so much that the current generation and the generation before us were misguided and brainwashed so much so that we are now opposing changes and not accepting the truth even when proofs are shown. British has not only colonised the land, it has even colonised our brains and have enslaved us forever by feeding us with wrong history.The world has moved on but we are still following the british education system founded by them some 100 years ago, even in England the education system has changed which itself is a proof that we are still slaves of british.The system introduced by british was to produce babus who can serve them,it is a rote system where it is not required to understand what you are learning, the only requirement is to clear the exams.It is because of this system that very few of our graduates are employable. The current system is memory based, it should be skill based. Memory can fail you but skill can never fail you. In olden times in India the education was skill based.Like Arjun was found to have natural talent in archery so he was taught that skill, so those Bhim who was good at 'gadda' (club) and so on. In the old Indian education system talent was recognised early in the life and thereafter all the education of the child is concentrated in honing those skill,so when the child comes out of the gurukul he is adept in one or other skill and is readily employable

What is the harm in learning English language when it has become global. Our dependency in terms of technologies & mineral resources is totally dependent externally. Only because English was prioritized by Congress today a very poor country when Independence can now take on the global due to this advantage. RSS policies can never unite people nor can bind together he nation with their local importance & this was the reason India had to become slaves in the last 10-12 centuries.

I am never against learning English, in fact it should be a mandatory language in all schools. If you read my comment carefully, you will find that I am not against the language and if you are aware of current affairs, very recently RSS has said the same thing to make English as a mandatory subject. I am not against the language, I am against the culture these English medium schools especially the convent schools are spreading. I am against the system which is memory based instead of skill based. This is what I meant when I said people are so brainwashed that they do not understand the seriousness of the matter. Blind towards congress and fake Gandhi family who have spread the british ideology. I will tell you one example. Britishers/westerners used to detest the use of cow urine and used to say those Indians unclean who drank cow urine, this thinking got carried forward and many Indians think the same. It has been proved now that cow urine has antibacterial and antibiotic properties, hence it is used as pesticide in organic farming and also in medicines. Now tell me who is more advanced the britishers or the Indians who knew the good effects of cow urine centuries back? This is how Indians were brainwashed by britishers and latter by congress and the fake Gandhi family by terming Hindu practices as superstitious and unscientific and you are one of the brainwashed.

All great pro-independence leaders mentioned here were not religious bigots, instead they only proclaimed that we have developed enough maturity now to rule ourselves than by foreigners and that was the passion to get independence. Now the educationists with sangh background want to prove ancient India was great we should shun westernisation and go in the reverse cycle. India should learn from European Union on how to exist with mutual understanding despite bar of language and cultural difference. India was almost reaching there but now again forcing Hindi and Hinduism are virtually taking us towards meaningless search of Indianisation. Adoptabilty is Hinduism and we should not bar people on cast-religion-skin colour-language. One mother tongue one other language let it be under choice of people. English is better alternate because of its international presence. RSS should stop existing if it has no political presence and only one form education should exist i.e. globalisation for better alternate. Let colonisation have different meaning not exploitation at cost of locals.
