All great pro-independence leaders mentioned here were not religious bigots, instead they only proclaimed that we have developed enough maturity now to rule ourselves than by foreigners and that was the passion to get independence. Now the educationists with sangh background want to prove ancient India was great we should shun westernisation and go in the reverse cycle. India should learn from European Union on how to exist with mutual understanding despite bar of language and cultural difference. India was almost reaching there but now again forcing Hindi and Hinduism are virtually taking us towards meaningless search of Indianisation. Adoptabilty is Hinduism and we should not bar people on cast-religion-skin colour-language. One mother tongue one other language let it be under choice of people. English is better alternate because of its international presence. RSS should stop existing if it has no political presence and only one form education should exist i.e. globalisation for better alternate. Let colonisation have different meaning not exploitation at cost of locals.
Madhya Pradesh is fast becoming the poorest state in India with the highest malnutrition, infant mortality rates, rapes, total mess of law & order; all thanks to the RSS poisonous Ideologies which propagate Cow Policies, Minorities bashing & caste discrimination. Well now they have taken almost PAN India in their fold, let them play with the fire & the we Indians majority of whom are blind followers will see the plight of Madhya Pradesh. Even if someone wants to decode the fake Gujrat Model of Development its very easy: 1. No enmasse flocking downto Gujrat for jobs 2. No Corporate Big houses, Ambanis were there even before the current crooked govt 3. No Metro Lines These are the visible points which people can observe from outside easily, rest all the self claims by the govt is exposed by independent agencies. Mind it, rather lacs of Indians including Hindus are working in the Middle-East & supporting their families at home in India & without any racial discrimination which is the fake Gujarat Model can never could do so.

Very happy to read this essay by Radhika Ramseshan. Though the author's "sickular credentials"keep popping out, the essay presents a comprehensive report on many aspects of RSS and other patriotic organisations.
It is like drunkard's campaign for prohibition. The greatest fan of British were the RSS/Hindu Mahasabha and Muslim league. Now, both of them are power in Indian subcontinent.They want spread their communal bias through educational institutions.Whatever a little education we have is likely to be destroyed in the name of culture and religion. Obscurantist, fanatic and superstitious bigots will have field day.

Mr Pseudo, you would do well to read history to know RSS actually supported British when GAndhi and other leaders en mass had launched Quit India Movement in 1942. Now they are claiming to be nationalist. Sick people with closed, narrow, sectarian mindset.

it was was planted in our history that arya came from outside and spread into India, aboriginals were uncivilized. in fact India is the oldest civilization. our ancestors were not uncivilized men living in forests; they were men of the highest cognitive abilities & wisdom who enlightened world.

We should learn history at correct place , not in RSS sakha. In History . it is clearly mentioned who were kings at what time allover the world, including India as per the histrical evidence found. Earlier, there were jungles all over the world before the concept of modern city. So, no need to fell so depressed. There were jungles and aborigines in America even 500 years back, they are now the most advanced nation. So, let chill down.
