Water is not a problem at all. It is abundantly available. Only Self centered Pol politicians are making it as an issue and are not considering it as a Problem and are not concentrating to do justice and service to people. Only the Supreme Court has to raise it and question them and if they are not doing their duty it should advise the election commission to dissolve the Govt and conduct fresh elections. Water is plenty in Ganges which is flowing to sea and wasted which could be diverted to South India by laying pipelines alongside the Coast where the laying will not involve in cost and easy to lay without other obstructions during excavation. Secondly Sea water is available world over. All ready the conversion into drinking water is done by some Govts and politically stopped. These are not good signs where these are politicized. The Supreme Court should find out the cause for stopping these projects and direct the Govt to do it on warfoot basis.

It is not true that water is available in plenty, but it is true that lot of water is contaminated by human activity. Further, water can surely be extracted from sea water, but its method from osmosis is costly which only Gulf countries with petro dollars are doing. However, if we can make a viable model of distillation of sea water using solar energy, it will be a win win situation.
Worst Time coming ahead in many parts of India, hope country gets sufficient rainfall in time, rest all depends on our respected politicians to present things to get budget passed through center for crisis. This has been the trend throughout. In the end normal/poor man suffers:-(.
