Media rightfully screams at any instance of eve-teasing in the country and yet displays annoyance when any any action is taken to curb it . Looks like we Indians want social security without a disciplined society. Government should just go ahead and implement its law enforcement agenda firmly. We the people should read news, particularly of english media, with discretion and not be carried away by their attempt to generate hysteria over trivialities and their tendency to be the Judge of everything.

Irony of our country

One yogi wanted his state to be safe for women - so that women can freely walk on the roads and so many people are criticizing it. In Karanataka, the 'secular' government banned night-shifts so that the women can stay home, tend to kids and serve their husbands and in-laws. Nobody utters a word!!!!

Keeping women safe doesn't mean harassing couples in public places, who are in a consensual relationship. If you think the crazies ruling UP have any tolerance for anything that is even remotely seen as "fun", then you are in dreamland. Why don't you shift to this great state ruled by a leader you so obviously admire and live there for some time before coming to conclusions?

Someone once said "the most dangerous among us come dressed as angels and we learn too late they are the devil in disguise.”
