random picking and testing of EVMs
by bhaskar on Apr 06, 2017 06:55 AM

Will remove the doubt as it is for government to be answerable to the issue of demoralization of democracy. If one EVM can cast vote for only BJP then I believe some EVMs should be malfunctioning. Even Microsoft has got bugs to fix up and EVM's are no GODLike equipments.

Frustrated opposition is not getting any issue against the Govt and they are just finding other ways to get attention. By the 2019 elections most of the opposition party's will disappear.

The opposition is like aAustralian cricket team. First they shout and harass, then they whine and complain and once they lose, they blame the pitch, food, heat, cold, efc. Everything except their own inefficiency. And Mayawati is most vocal because she will be forced to return the crores of rupees she collected from her 400 odd party candidates, who all lost and ask for refund. A real bunch of jokers....

The opposition has lost the election and now they have nothing to fight and, therefore, they have taken this path of EVM. Shameful.

Free and fair, or Pay and Park? !
by Bharat Kumar on Apr 05, 2017 02:32 PM  | Hide replies

The EVM machines, older ones, must be having the buttons which produce the same output, whatever key is pressed. It is a common bug in computer systems, where chips sensitive to temperature and moisture can produce wrong results. They don't need to be specially programmed. All that one has to do, is to see which position gets lit all time and accordingly paste the favorable party's name there.

The Election commission officials, all derived from clerical and office cadres, might have played it safe by lumping errors in favor of the ruling disposition.

Sounds more like a Pay and park with reserved slots !

Bharat Kumar, if you think you are an expert on the subject and think that EVMs can be manipulated, why dont you offer your services to the Election commission and prove what you say.

All the opposition parties specially SP, BSP, Congress,AAP doubt the function of EVMs as they again want to bring paper ballots so that voting can be made in their favour with the help of bahubalis and antisocial elements which they were accused to be doing all the time before introduction of EVMs of Indian Polls.

Mr Bharat Kumar, it would be better if you comment on facts and not on surmised and conjectures. The simple fact is that the Opposition parties are sore losers who can only crib after having been comprehensively devastated in the recent elections.

EVMs
by Vishal Kumar on Apr 05, 2017 02:30 PM

If any political party is not willing to use EVM for the elections then simply such parties should not take part in the elections. Why hue and cry.
