All Discussions are Vote based and anti Soldiers.
by Manohar Bhargava on Oct 09, 2016 07:11 AM  | Hide replies

Shame that on one side all political parties are openly fighting for votes but are sidelining the genuine demand of armed forces. While 78 days bonus is given in addition to the salary of those who cause death of the innocent but even the genuine demand accepted by the court is side lined by Government & their promise before elections and now is showing the real face of corrupt cheats and dishonest Politicians. The illiterates are at the mercy of bureaucrats and are depending on them for all illegal financial gains. Please note you cannot let the pot boiling for ever and suggest some harsh punishment for persons who undermine the spirit of sacrifice.

Right conclusion can be produced by a wrong reasons. The statement that Pakistan's nuclear threat is a bluff is false and misleading, but the conclusion that India can afford to escalate the conflict is true. The reasoning that it has become true because nuclear threat was a bluff is however wrong. The nuclear threat is perfectly true and verified as they do have deliverable nuclear weapons.

Truth is that conventional warfare has to and can escalate even if there is a nuclear threat because otherwise it would become nuclear blackmail by one party. All countries have a nonzero capacity to suffer harm before giving up sovereignty, no amount of nuclear threat is sufficient to persuade a rational thinker to decide to totally avoid fighting.

A nuclear country poses a nuclear threat to all others as one can never be sure about what goes on inside their secret nuclear war decision making systems, but that is not enough reason to avoid war. The MAD doctrine works only by voluntary acceptance and not by force of reason.

Bollywood take
by krm on Oct 02, 2016 01:04 PM  | Hide replies

Eagerly waiting for the Bollywood take on this. Imagine - the soldier who led this operation is singing a duet in Switzerland when he receives a call from the PMO; he immediately cuts short his honeymoon and flies back; the rest is history. Whatever analysts and experts may say, the true picture will only emerge when Bollywood tells it.

THE BJP HAS TO PROVE THE PAKIS WRONG BY RELEASING THE VIDEOS, IF AT ALL IT IS TRUE AND NOT JUST A POLITICAL STUNT, JUST BEFORE THE PUNJAB ELECTIONS

Transparency
by Rustom Morena on Oct 02, 2016 12:49 PM  | Hide replies

Government should be transparent enough to reveal necessary details. Otherwise in the next so called "surgical strike" none would believe the intentions nor the actual operation. It would be absurd to say in todays time that other countries are not aware about exactly what happened across the LOC. It is only the public in India who do not get information on the pretext of the matter being grave and sensitive.

*Our army has gone to SUR-GI-CAL Strikes many times But never admitted till now, this is the first time.
*Our AR-MY should have captured the EN-EMY Teritory as that is our land, We should hv captured little by little.
*C HOW chin has captured our lakhs of kms of teritory.
*Within 5 years whole of kasm-ir would be in our india's control.
*for pleasing the country and next years election this was a tool, Not in IND-IA'S Favour.
JAI HIND!!!!!!
KUDOS TO our BRAVE SOLDIERS

OUR ARMY IS CAPABLE AND HONEST, BUT THE SAME CANNOT BE SAID ABOUT SOME CROOKED POLITICIANS, WHO WANT TO USE THE ARMY AS THEIR LAUNCHING PAD FOR ELECTIONS, CROOKS WILL NEVER CHANGE.
