Oh, not my assessment at all !
It is the komaaaali party (BJP) itself that has assessed that it is going to recede substantially in the north in 2019 from its current strength in the LS. And it is the komaaaali partymen themselves who told the media in Kerala (on the sidelines of its national meeting) that it will try to win at least 12 out of its 20 LS seats in 2019 to partly compensate for its expected losses in the north !

even if it takes years to build the dams for storage and electricity we need to start work for future benifit too.Also we can divert water to other states. This action will shake Pakistan.

very true, We should hold water as we can. dont give them water when they need most, and over flow when they dont need if.
The writer is a Paki agent and idiot. Even if it takes 15 years to divert water we should start making canals now. Results will start coming immediately we start the canal work. Paki pants will will open and fell down. We all know how much China cared about international court filed and won by Philippines.
Lets make dams and generate electricity. Give water to Kashmir and Rajasthan for irrigation and slowly divert surplus water to Karnataka.
If there is international presser we will use it in our stride and ask Paki to behave.
It appears that during UPA regime, this was never thought seriously, with political motive. Had it been done with future possibilities, there would not have been any problem in stopping the water. Nehru & Gandhi family has ruined the country.
