It was nothing but a foray for understanding the inter tribal political layout there on which the Indian Intelligence should have detailed info in any case but didn't. Projecting it as hush-hush operation falls flat .

Sam Thiyagarajan
Afghan puzzle
by Sam Thiyagarajan on Sep 14, 2016 06:09 PM

I was thinking all along that Indian Foreign Service is all "Dine, wine and dance" sequence. I am an avid reader of MKBs articles in the Rediff and I must say that my adoration of MKB is enhancd manifold after reading this article. If only Massoud has not been assassinated by the bogus TV crew and Dr.Najibullah has lived for another day, India would have been a prominent player in Afghan politics today. Brilliant people like MKB has rendered yeoman service to the country even risking their live. Great!!!
