If well to do people are their patrons, they will stop coming again after seeing shabbily or improperly dressed people frequenting the restaurant. This obviously does not augurs well for their business. Dilashi is a good human being but she should have thought about this before going into an iconic restaurant like this. Frankly, its common sense. Society is divided into halves and halves not and this difference will remain no matter what you do. Dilashi try this at Taj hotel at Gateway of India in Bombay. There also you will face the same situation.

Good analysis that Mocambi food is very substandard. People go there just to look at other well dressed people.

Dear Shaheen, Just for a little information, Hotel Taj was built by Jamshedjee Tata, the founder of Tata Group on the reason that we was thrown out of a british hotel in Mumbai, due to his Desi Irani Attire. He then Built Hotel Taj and rest is history. Taj has so far never denied entry to anyone based on his attire. We need to change our mindset to bring about the change in society. Regards.
why dont you send a mail to mamata didi.. safeguardian of all downtrodden. The retaurant will be shut for ever now. She will ask her goonda elements in her party to take care of the hotel.
