All this while was BMC sleeping? Were the forest conservator officials sleeping? Was the collector sleeping? How come they have suddenly woken up and found violations? In reality they all have grouped together to "teach a lesson" to Kapil Sharma for daring to accuse BMC of corruption, which in fact is a reality and the whole nation knows about it. And behind this is Shiv Sena and MNS.
He should have been seeing through outside the idiot box he is managing.
The practical world off stage and outside the box is very different.
you have to be "practical" if you know you are doing something that could be challenged later.
Nobody will come to stop you when you are damaging the mangroves or erecting an illegal floor.
It is not the normal practice.
They will let you finish your misdemeanors and then come for their collection that is normally due and you have not discharged.
Otherwise they catch you red-handed.
Catching them red handed is not only next to impossible but also if caught they hardly get convicted after a trial of say anywhere between 10 to 20 years.
Kapil has put 49 other people into unnecessary trouble which could have been avoided by just being "practical".

The fine (Rs 6 crore) was imposed by NGT. GOI did not impose any fine. Later on, it was found that damage inflicted was much more than the fine imposed. But the issue had become irrelevant by then :)
