Every one should feel the responsible that my country, my state my place, because protecting the country means it is not in the government hands it is the responsiblity of each and every one to protect the country from natural disaster. What should we do? i.e we should plant and grow more trees, and we should protect the forests first. Reduce the pollution by reducing the use of vehicles upto some limit. Go by walk if it is a short distance or by bicycle. Always reuse the plastic and paper or send for recycle. Don't waste the electricity by putting on the fans and lights unnecessarily in empty rooms. Don't waste the food and water. Always keep the dug wells in the earth and protect the water to go into the earth such that ground water resources can be improved. Decrease the demand for mobile phones and electronic devices and use the electronic devices for prolonged time such that the lifespan for that device is also improved. By following the above conditions mining activities are reduced upto somelimit and deforestation can be reduced. And natural disasters are controlled automatically.
It is overdue. The country that can not afford 1/3rd of the present population as per geographical / environmental limitations has been inviting such a predicament. These dirty politicians who want votes and notes encourage population growth but nature will definitely level.

Yes there are 1000% chance of severe casualties in case of natural disaster happening in India. We have wrong people incharge of disaster management ,without any technical training of saving human life . These creme top class intelligent officers have infinite powers as head of town/villages but lack the human angle. Each action is focussed on how to get higher budget, but after allotment of funds it is criminally wasted. Because no one is accountable to public, these people think they are mai naps, no one can question them. How many trained graduates in disaster management are posted in each district, moreover all departments are filled with FURGI CERTIFICATES, Vyapam type candidates. What good we can expect , as soon as these people get government jobs they look for starting bribes , frauds to make up the entrance expenses. So pray to god that nothing comes up as national disaster, otherwise it will happen like Ahmedabad earth quake , Later, Kedarnath, etc.

Yes, we need proactive people. these bureaucrats are efficient no doubt they prepared and cleared some exams, but we need pro-efficient ones.
Many Indian states have been facing disasters but they are seldom reported as such places are not visited either by the press or the officials. Villages are left to their fate. When govt. development schemes are not reaching such areas how can they tend to the disaster of such areas. It is pure common sense.
Before natural calamities affect India, India was/is and will be disastrous due to its unwantead over growing population. Our leaders, people, Babus - no one is serious. No national policy only one policy how to tax more and more on common man.
