Mere compensation to affected policemen will not deter culprits from attacking policemen them Culprits must be brought before court for severe punishment. Policemen should retaliate in such situations. In the name od religion drunkards take law in their hand and all political parties come forward to protect culprits. Stop sympathies for rioters.

Attack on policemen does not augur well for a healty society. Every good citizen of India should condemn such acts of violence on public servant and people behind this act should stand trial in court of law.

Could not agree with you more. Only problem is cops have lost the respect of the citizens because of the way they treat their duty as a business. There are very few cops who really are worth the uniform they wear. It is when this happens that citizens specially the lowest common denominator think they can get away with it AND MOST OF THEM DO because of political patronage.
So whos really Goonda these people or politicians backing them. If these politicians stop patronising these goondas they will vanish as none of them have guts to face Police. But irony is our politicians give patronage ot these goondas for vote bank politics.
