Where are the Liberals who shouted from roof tops, when some crack-pots attacked girls who went to the pubs? They called this 'moral policing'. Now the whole women of the Muslim community is being denied 'equality' in determining their future in case of problems in wed-lock; and these liberals are maintaining a 'dead silence' !!!! Why does some part of the Indian public demand special laws and don't want equality in society irrespective of Religion, Caste, creed, gender,geography etc?

As regards matrimony the unscrupulous have misused the provisions of Muslim personal laws for plural marriage. A sham conversion to Islam precedes. While it may be permitted for Muslims they must understand the extraordinary circumstances under which this was permitted. Today the same situation does not exist and hence they should welcome the UCC. Living in the past serves no purpose.
False secularism has destroyed India. Muslims will have to follow the UCC. US is a christian country Japan is a Buddhist country India is a Hindu country.

india is a republic country and every citizen has a right to follow and practice his religion. and if you want a hindu country to live in you can move to nepal.

For what ? To bury a muslim woman alive in the name of adultery, ask a raped woman to bring four reliable eye witnesses! !!! The sharia criminal code is an equal sham when it comes to women
