Laziest people
by Jugal Ahuja on Oct 14, 2016 05:57 PM  | Hide replies

According to many western reporters & columnist Tibetans are possibly one of the laziest people in the world. The whole day they either chant or sleep, their womenfolk do all the work. The present Tibetan younger generation has no illusions about religion, they have migrated to other big cities of China, educated and taken up jobs elsewhere. Whatever the author is writing is related to Tibetans of age group 60 years. Thousands of young Tibetans can be seen on the roads & malls of Lhasa,Xigase (the 2 big cities)riding flashy motor bikes, cars, enjoying shopping, hiking, doing business etc.

Does it make people aged 60 or above are expected to be the victims of human right violation? Lazy or buzy Tibetians has their rights the way they want to live. China has no rights to show their cruelty on them.

Rediff is blocking my reply.. So fragmenting the reply...

OK! If you want to know real facts here it is: In March-April 1959, when the Dalai Lama was escorted by CIA agents from Lhasa to India via Tezpur in Assam, than Indian PM Nehru at first refused to give asylum to the Dalai Lama.

But than PM Nehru bargained with President Eisenhower of US for transfer of Atom-bomb technology in lieu for giving asylum to the Dalai Lama and his followers.

And India got the next best thing in the bargain... that is the CIRUS nuclear reactor and 400 Indian scientist were trained in nuclear physics in the US. Ultimately, that resulted in the first Pokhran nuclear blast in 1974.

Never featured in the past. Mr Biswajyoti must be the CIA agent who sealed this deal.

He signed the deal as a witness. :)

But if this is true, it is probably the only good thing Nehru did for India.

Moreover, the CIRUS reactor which produced the weapons grade plutonium needed for the nuclear blast in 1974, the heavy water was supplied by the USA.

And though the reactor was supposed to be used for peaceful purpose, however there was no IAEA inspection or safeguard.

Don't worry, the relics should be wiped out soon.

Do not be surprised ! It happened somewhere in 1969 or sometime before that. China trespassed At Nathu La pass and fired at Indian forces. Indian forces went inside Chinese/Tibet territory and retaliated. Some Chinese soldiers were killed. Sometime before that/or at that time I do not exactly remember, there were clashes between Soviet Union/China and both countries suffered losses. After this incident there were no open reports clashes between India/China forces .
