.....the article is headed with a malicious intent naturally from an anti-national supporting corruption and blackmoney hoarders and blackmarketeers.....some BJP-hater obviously. People know there is NO CONNECTION OF ANYONE's DEATH WITH THE WAR AGAINST CORRUPTION ....
Given the demonetization of Indian Currencies of Rs.1000 and Rs.500; Given the withdrawal limits of Rs.2500/- per day from the ATM and Given the already existing monthly limit to withdraw cash from the ATM without any charges, why should the common people be charged when they exceed the number of withdrawal limit per month from the ATM given the chaotic scene created by the government.
How many time TOI and other new paper apologized for false new. They should be sensible to society and don't try to fulfill personal agenda by false allegations.
This will probably rank as one of the worst follies of any government or administration in history. It is being referred to as a surgical strike on black money but it is akin to performing surgery with an axe.
Normalcy of everyday life has broken down, economy is gasping for cash and people are dying. This is clearly a case of cure being worse than the disease.
Demonetisation has made not just old 500,1000 currency notes illegal but for all practical purposes BJP itself. People are stunned and speechless but surely will let their votes speak at the time of elections.

who asked them to remain poor.
Boss - in the end of the day it is the cunning or the intelligent who survive. So either be Intelligent like Einstein or be cunning like Mallya. If you are neither then death is your only result.
There is no charity in this human world. It is animal culture. Accept the reality and fact.

People were not dying standing in crickey match queues, cinema queues, railway reservation queues. In fact people were not dying between 1947 and 2016... Nice story.

Absolutely Sir.Well said Srinivas. For all those not pitying the common man but sitting in AC offices, buying everything online, not feeling the pinch and commenting on these forums ,you constitute just a fraction of a fraction what India is,13,000 lakhs of people and I am sure many of the cowards writing bold statements here will not even vote , may be it is their girlfriends birthday on that day. Modi's loss of power in Centre,BJP's loss in all upcoming elections is guaranteed. He has touched the Votebank, caused terrible, unbearable inconvenience to tonnes of honest tax payers daily access to money forgetting the fact that 40 crore people don't have bank accounts but are hard working farmers, daily wagers, etc, etc. He has kept mum about 30000 Crores he allowed to transfer into foreign banks from May 2015, http://bit.ly/1ThbZT0 and why isn't he making the names of 600 accounts in Swiss bank public. Economists all around the Globe have criticized the move and the chaotic, pathetic fashion with which it was implemented. http://bbc.in/2fbFicL. Hope we respect the fact that there are our brothers, sisters and mothers who have lost their lives standing in Q's to get access to their hard earned money to feed their families. That is a very very hard fact to digest and all you people who Bulls--t here would understand the hardship only if you face it. This is pathetic implementation and severe hardship for fellow citizens.
how can media report the news in such cheap ways. i ask one question. alright that PM is culprit in all this and he forced people to stand in queues ..... but where is the humanity ? why did people not help this man to move ahead because he has to perform some ceremony in his daughter;s wedding.... i am sure there are many useless people who want to draw money just like that ... maybe they could have helped this man to move ahead in line ...or even bank officials..
by projecting this news ...you can call PM as heartless ...but what i see is that this whole nation is heartless and also spineless that it cannot face hardships ... or can live amicably

PM modi can be blamed for everything ...good ...you can even throw him out of power... good too ...but what came out today is not black money ..but our black nature
we indians have stooped so low that we cannot help our own brothers in distress ...and this fancy face rahul says we can eradicate poverty by doing more scams and living on subsidies

raised right points.Whole media has become cheap and REDIFF is nothing different.U can see past reporting from rediff as well .full bias against MODI
These people who have given their lives for no reason are the real veterans.
These people deserve salute than soldiers who get salary for 18 years and pension for 36 years and get much more benefits like tax free supply from CSD, reservation for jobs etc
The demonetization of the Rs500 /- an Rs 100/- was a master stroke by the PM. The results on the earlier motive was expected to be great. However its also true that this move by the Govt. has been ill planned. The Govt. is not aware nor considered to think, of the extent of social disturbance this is creating, especially in the low & middle class society. There is still chance for the Govt. to release all possible low denomination notes & make it more accessible to in the rural area.
