Opposition
by arungopal agarwal on Nov 17, 2016 12:48 PM

No needful or correct message is given by opposition, are they fighting for or against corruption-only they can tell, common man is confused with their role.
Of course common man is concerned for the miseries he is facing in particular marriages, urgent medical aid, farmer problems etc., for which either Modi should bring a formula for relief or opposition should sit with Modi to find a solution. Adamant attitude of govt. is also not democratic.

PM's Bold decision
by PRADEEP AGRAWAL on Nov 17, 2016 10:59 AM

People are not complaining but see how these black money hoarders in the parliament have formed the nexus and screaming at the top of their voice..this only confirms their black deeds in the past and common people can see through their evil designs...These few black-faces should be thrown behind bars...without even a trial

Good decision
by Ramachandra RK on Nov 17, 2016 09:00 AM

Absolutely good decision to lash out the corruption /black money in India through demonetization but I suspect that it may directly hit the new generation people/ presently growing middle class people /first generation beneficiaries of reservation /the people who are learning the a b c d of economics / the people who are opening a eyes on savings etc. If the concern is really genuine please give one more a similar policy/rule to stop the menace of privatization in Education and Health sector for benefit of countrymen

Reality distortive
by R ponnabalam on Nov 17, 2016 05:40 AM

It is ill timed as it should have been done by the Congress Govt. long back when it knew for certain that it had created 84 % high value notes to facilitate transport of notes for Black Money empire, ill conceived because it didn’t take into account that the poor helpful Indians with his family members would stand in queue in lieu of the rich to get currency converted to help the rich and that the GOOD compassionate Indians would come along with 95yrs old mother to get cash converted. The previous Govt. had been sensitive to the needs of the Black money empire that it created 84%of high denomination notes for easy transfer to build black money empire and this Govt. is insensitive. For 70 yrs every body is requesting the names of account holders in Swiss bank, list of loan defaulters in Indian banks and now this is again getting repeated. Also tell us who coined the word NON PERFORMING ASSET and which RBI Governor accepted that because to tell that the currency note , the asset of the bank which carry the solemn assurance that’I assure to pay – “ and which has always performed to get equivalent value is called NPA repudiating RBI governor’s assurance R.PONNAMBALAM

Black Money Demonetization
by Jaideep Mathur on Nov 17, 2016 01:16 AM  | Hide replies

For 60 years the congress kept the rural economy deliberately out of the banking system. Not having a bank branch in rural area, made the banks look elitist and for the rich. This PM made Jan Dhan accounts and brought banking to the rural and to the poor. It has removed the impression that banks are for the rich. To eliminate black money, large part of the economy has to be cash-less. So if rural India embraces banking, it will reduce the cash transactions and so there will be less cash in the system. In urban areas people like Auto Walas and even small vegetable vendors have embraced PayTM... moving towards a cash-less transaction. So this step will force people to use banking channels and reduce cash in physical form in the economy.

Ask him to stop trying to hide the big time theft of monopolies such as the Adani group, the Ambanis, the Reddys, the Vedantas, etc using his demonetisation drive that does not touch those people !

He is looking for a few pennies of black money held by traders and small time crooks and thus to divert the attention of voters in UP from the gau rakshak and price rise issues while hoping that the gigantic loot of public wealth by croxny capitalists is not noticed !

And he has very good reason to play out this pantomine show !

The BJP ran the most expensive campaign in Indian electoral history in 2014. It far outdid even the Congress - the erstwhile champions of croxny capitalist funded election campaigns.

The Congress and the BJP are two sides of the same miserable coin; both rely heavily on the ill gotten funds (earned entirely through stripping of public assets and evasion of taxes) of some big corporates and repay them by diverting state and natural assets to them cheap !
