It could have been a master strategy, to avoid having to go to the jail ever, for the DA case (which could come up for hearing in the SC sometime soon), now that it has been "established" that her health is very "fragile"!

She will escape from jail regardless of her health. They tried in Karnataka court. What happened? -:)

TALKING ABOUT COURT CASES, MORE DANGEROUS CRIMINALS ARE RULING US NOW. THIS IS INDIA. AMMA HAS DONE A LOT FOR THE POOR OF TAMIL NADU. HENCE SHE IS RESPECTED.
