In SBI,there is a Centralised Cell to process all pensions. Individual brand does not calculate the pension. The sheer volume of workload on the Cell sometimes results in human error. There are channels to resolve this and the pensioner should utilise that. Committing suicide is not befitting to a retired jawan. In what circumstances the suicide took place should be enquired. The political partiesshould not taker advantage of isolated incidents to further their goals.

He was already getting a pension. Only question is anamoly to be rectified for which he needed to pursue with the people. What is it that he achieved by committing suicide? As an army person he saved the lives of the country. Why he should be mentally so weak on a matter like pension which could have been easily solved . The greatness of our political parties is to take it up as an issue against the Govt. rather than educate them and solve their problems. Very Sad
