Every one is talking of Global warming, rising temperature. Any study on the Rampant use of Air Conditioning in every home, school, office bus train etc. etc. AFTER ALL AIR CONDITIONING IS NOTHING BUT COOLING A SPACE AND THROWING MUCH MORE HOT AIR OUTSIDE. Any proper studies, or only Global Warming sessions.

You are absolutely right in your observations. Air conditioners apart from using the gas with either high ODP or high GWP or both adds heat of compression plus the sensible and latent heat to outside atmosphere. With rising number of users of air conditioners the impact of ac heat should also be studied.

the author may be correct as accuweather shows Dehradun's temp on 20th May as 42/30 degrees Celsius. You should better visit Shillong where most of the times the max temp has been 27 degrees since it has been raining for most of the time for past two months. Any NE states is cooler than any other parts on India, atleast this year

I am surprised that the report steers clear of Modi-bashing, and in fact has something complimentary today about Modi! Ahead, where is thine sting?
