NGO is backed by coaching centre
by ksed pleh on May 25, 2016 09:17 AM

The NEET if at all to bring equality must not be based on CBSE. It was there for all to see immediately after supreme court blind judgment, papers were flooded with advertisement by Bijoy, aakash, vidyamandir etc full page ads proving that these coaching centre are behind push for NEET. Why cbse student attend coaching class when meet is based on cbse syllabus. Even one English news channel reported on supreme court neet judgement inside aakash coaching centre. Meet is eyewash for only elite who can afford coaching to trick pass neet and this not necessarily shows capability. NEET is not required when there are difficult boards in India. Meet , jee brings inequality and benefits only rich and elite. Exception of one or two poor kds breaking this are not example for equality.

Purpose of NEET
by systems technologies on May 24, 2016 02:38 PM

The only purpose of NNET is to push CBSE students ahead of state boards. Ideally, there should be only two entrance exams, one for state quota, to be conducted by state as per its own curriculum, and the other for national quota, conducted by CBSE, on its own syllabus. Wards of all top babus, politicians, judiciary and elites go to CBSE schools, and that is why they want to impose its exam on all other students in rural and far off areas. It is like bringing up a new Manusmriti where the wards of elites only have the right on the elite education. The terms transparency, exam load, etc. are all gimmicks. Why cant CBSE students appear for state exam if their syllabus is of very high standard and they have all facilities like using tab in the schools itself ?

Public Interest Litigation on the cards
by Manian on May 24, 2016 02:26 PM

Govt taking an ordinance to route to subvert the SC decision is appalling and it is high time that case of PIL should be brought before the court that equality which is guaranteed in the constitution is being deprived. Delhi govt says that they will go ahead with NEET whereas few state governments are going ahead with there own test or no test. Why such discrimination when SC has held that professional courses should have single common test which essentially means the right of the union prevail over the state right

by K N on May 24, 2016 01:46 PM

The fiasco between supreme court and the central government many students abstained from writing the state exams . like gujcet etc. then re examination at all centres must be done.
why confuse the students?
Because it is not conducive to practice in india people move to green pasture to earn money for what spent.

Keep Aptitude tests early on
by navinkumar nandakumar on May 24, 2016 01:06 PM

NEET ASAP not so neat agreed. Next year on, keep aptitude tests at 10 or pre 1 to see if the ward is suited for medicine or agri or engg or vet etc. Mugging and scoring 498/500 or 500/500 in CBSE or state board (eng/vernacular) is not going to be of great help in becoming a doctor. Also quoting regional students are at disadvantage for a test at national level in English is a farce... Robbins Pathology, Gray's Anatomy and Cunningham doesn't come in vernacular versions. It would be of the highest Brit ELBS English or USA English (Harrisons Text of Medicine). Scalpels and sutures and mg/mcgs and IV lines dont come in vernacular... so please spare this nonsense. If they need to study medicine, they need to be proficient in English as a Second Language.
