Too Much time wasted
by NEELAKANTAN R on May 22, 2016 11:21 AM

There need not be too much time to waste for this analysis. There are simple three major reasons. 1. Jayalalitha planned a strategy of splitting the opposition votes. 2. MK was dare enough to announce that Stalin will be CM candidate, but people knew that stalin will be defacto CM and people had less confidence in him.3. Mk was not able to handle his family fight which spill over the streets. These paved way for Jaya's success.

jaya succees s is big, but she must concentrate in TN Industrizatation, and she must or her devote more time on lakes deepening in chennai suburban areas , her govt must construct big lakes for water storage, and her govt must devote more time in channalising drainage system in chennai which is very worst in india, she must ask her chief engg to go and study singapore drainage system and adopt here in cheenai.
She must remember that DMK Won maximum seats in chennai only because of poor handling in floods, she won t nagar and mylapore brahamin dominated constunancy

Only one reason is enough to win any elections
by daniel thorat on May 21, 2016 02:21 PM

Howsoever one may packages it, it is nothing other than money, in various forms. Some unintelligent candidates pay cash visibly and get caught. Others do it smartly, and in different forms. A govt. already in power can do a lot by using all money, govt. cash, govt. travel facilities including aircraft, give temporary jobs to thousands, feed them on govt./party account, and also threaten or rough up or actually kill, and furthermore, they can give promises which are instantly believed because that govt. has already proved that it can do it. All our research and analyses and theories fail. The people who win are not necessarily epitomes of absolute virtue, because if they were, they would rule for ever ! I wonder why the Congress did not do this more comprehensively when in power. I w fear that it is possible to perpetuate a party in govt. with no chance of winning any elections if they really follow this formula ruthlessly. History has such examples of rulers.

Jayalalithaa won, Mamta won .Vasundhara is CM of Rajsthan,Mayawati is likely to win in UP. It appears that voters find women CMs are better, less corrupt than male.

If this is true, though possible, then all future campaigns can be very short and sweet. Just say we have a female CM CANDIDATE, and rest!

1. Zero development activities
2. Govt started running Business
3. Shamelessly falling on her feet culture (Even in front of Car Tyre, Helicopter which is height of non-sense)
4. All Govt money is going into the party men pocket, all Govt schemes are made for that
5. No money with people, running behind freebies

Eventually, JJ has systematically converted TN into a slaves and buying votes by throwing money at them

The young generation will become Jobless in TN or will be forced to migrate since there is no new Industry / Investment happening in TN in the past 5 years when compare with neighboring states

It is a Hard luck for TN, especially people live in cities, which requires Infrastructure and Industry development for a better livelihood

How easy and possible it would be to use Art 356 of the Constitution in such cases? Because this is creating and foisting a totally new strain of sycophancy in India, and in some cases it has already grown threateningly.

Height of that A Govt Officer is falling on her feet Yesterday in public, such guys should be either sacked or shot-down on the spot in order to retain the self-respect in TN

I feel shameful, such slave culture cannot be tolerated in public

I agree. She is not giving any indication to them not ot prostrate. On the other hand it appears that she is enjoying the show as if she is showing her status to the whole world. she is forgetting that it very badly relfects on country's pride

Why eyebrows are raised when a woman has won the election for the 2nd time? Allow a lady to rule
and things will be better. Women handle things
nicely and with a more humane approach.
