Ambassador Srinivasan, When Left allowed Private University in WB? The first PU bill was passed in 2012 (Techno India University) under Mamta leadership. You can not justify your extreme steps on pushing apart a striking crowd to attend a meeting on establishing pvt universities. You were man handled which was very unfortunate. But it was invited too
LDF, is truely a secular block, no doubt about that. But that cant be said about UDF, which allies with the Muslim League (Muslims) and Kerala Congress (Christians). So you cant give the distinction of Kerala being secular, as long as one of the 2 major political blocks is not secular at all.

In India there no such thing as Secular.All are communal.We had started flaunting caste ; Religion names right from the early days.We pretend to be Secular.R.Ponnambalam

The politics of the Muxlim League, along with the politics of the Congress and the BJP/RSS gave rise to the old "Ko-Lee- Bi" (Congress-League-BJP) combination !
THE ARTICLE IS NO FULLY CORRECT. THE REASON FOR BJP'S FAILURE IS , UNLIKE OTHER AREA, HERE MINORITIES ARE WELL ORGAINSED AND MOST OF THEIR ANCESTORS WERE UPPER CASTE.BECAUSE OF LOOSING UNDUE MINORITY BENEFIT GIVEN BY LEFT& RIGHT GOVT, THE SWICHED OVER ENTIRE VOTE TO LEFT FOR THIS TIME ONLY.
