If some acts are suspected to be against Patriotism then the need arises to reaffirm his faith on sovereignty otherwise no body bothers who belongs to which community.
"Padhey likhey ganwaar" is an idiom in hindi that suits kerala.Talking patriotism to the same party which divided India. Hindus are too meek to resist them. And Christians have wisely taken their share of loot.
What an irony- a party which is based and named after a religion is talking of secularism and that secularism is under threat in the current central government. Or maybe he sees it that the minority appeasement (to be particular appeasement only of one community- brought into India from Sauds ) has been shunned by the present central government unlike the governments in the past and suddenlty they feel not the favoured one as in the past!
and the komaaaaaali party are straining every nerve and spending the biggest amounts of money among contesting parties (both public funds as well as the money given as kickbacks to them by men such as Gautam Adani) to try and win at least 1 seat out of 140 in Kerala and at least 1 seat out of 294 in Tamil Nadu !
Not feeling secure enough by dwarfing other parties such as the left in terms of money power, the prime minister of the country is going to take time off to take a ride on his official plane and go on no less than 4 hindi-braying campaigns in the states of Kerala and Tamil Nadu to try and realise his partys dream of winning at least 1 out of 140 seats in Kerala and 1 out of 294 in TN !
Add his perpetually scowling face, rasping voice and histrionics to the above ironies and there is one very big komaaaaali romping all about the nations electoral arena !

In Karnataka also, BJP never used to win a single assembly seat. But, it is very strong now in Karnataka. BJP is using its own party funds to win seats in election, but not looting this country like congress.
