was knocked to the ground by certain unruly elements who were angered by his active connivance with the Congress led government in Kerala to try and introduce large scale privatization of university education including opening the way for foreign funded education.

Ever since, he has been spewing vitriol against the left front for one reason or the other - most of them figments of his imagination.

Here, he has indulged in elaborate make believe word play to try and convince himself that the left front is fighting a desperate battle to win in the Kerala assembly elections (when the truth is that they are tipped by pollsters to win above 80 seats in the 140 seat assembly, if not much more).

Completely baseless article. Omanchandy is not an indispensable person in Kerala politics. What counts in Kerala is whether one is corrupt or not while holding public office. LDF is no mean better, but they are likely to get the advantage of not being in power. BJP will not be a big winner but will be the spoiler for sure. It might as well help UDF to come back into power and that is democracy.

And that third choice is spending much more than either the LDF or the UDF and yet is not certain whether they will win even 1 seat out of 140 !
