Let courts decide
by Sudarshan Nityananda on Mar 29, 2016 05:32 PM

The Congress is also partly to blame if it depended only on a voice vote in a close run vote on the Finance BIll. Nor does the BJP come out very well in this episode since they hi jacked the 9 dissidents in the most brazen manner with a Union MInister doing the dirty work. Mr Jaitley's holier than thou attitude will not wash with voters . Best to let the Courts decide the issues since even the credibility of a Presidential order is now at doubt.

Dis grace
by arungopal agarwal on Mar 29, 2016 05:25 PM

Politicians are above insult and respect, yet to see any grace while taking bribe, doing goondagardi on streets, and spreading hate everywhere for their vote bank.

The BJP behaviour
by madhusudan rao on Mar 29, 2016 05:11 PM  | Hide replies

Madam Soni. When Congress was ruling center it has dismissed 80 state governments under one pretext or other and you call BJP behaviour bad? Atleast in this case, it was clearly proved that the money bill was not passed in the assembly and thus leading to the government down fall. You have disqualified 9 MLAs subsequently but on the day of voting of finance bill the government was defeated . Pl do not quote scriptures, the state congress was rife with dissensions and Rahul had no time to go to the state and sort out the issue as he was busy visiting JNU and Kanhiya kumar to make political gains( ?).

Why do we need BJP for it? Congress and their chamchas are there in RS and they have been ensuring India is going back to stone age by not passing important bills!

Distroying Congress....
by Dattaprasad Prabhu on Mar 29, 2016 05:01 PM

This Ambika should not forget her past and her "Roll" in Sanjay Brigade during the emergency days. Every thing is written in black and white by H.V.Kamath, Inder Malhotra, Kuldip Nayyar etc and she has not challenged it yet.

Dirty tricks department of BJP imposed President's rule just one day before the floor test. The Party which talked the loudest about protecting federalism is the biggest molester of federalism.

BJP's poll plank was Congress Mukhth Bharat. Like all pledges, it is also sticking to this poll promise, and most Indians are behind it.

BJP - What about your part?
by on Mar 29, 2016 04:02 PM

Its easy to blame federal govt; but why budget was allowed to pass when the number were not enough?

People don't elect CM, but MLAs; when there is no sufficient support for CM he should leave rather than sticking to his chair.
