I am reminded of the collections of Tulip varieties introduced in the gardens of Regional Research Laboratory, Srinagar as early as 1968 and 1969. It was flourishing garden with exotic Tulip varieties growing for years together. Dr MK Kaul

What a garden !! The state could have created a billion$ tourism Industry. The place could have been synonym of peace- but due to few people this is not to be. Siachen could hv been the ski resort competing with Swzrlnd- benefitting both India and Pakistan. But....
