It should have been India Celebrate the Mahashivratri. I didn\'t expect this from Rediff. I always read the news and other things on this site but this is first time I am disappointed with it. We are Indians first and then religious. When people of India can celebrate Eid, Christmas, Holi, Diwali and other festival together then why to define them as religion. Please correct the head line and make it India instead of Hindu.

You should have written India celebrates not Hindu celebrates. Rediff writers are such pets of COngress.

What rediff has written is absolutely correct. Because Shivratri is celebrated mostly by hindus only.
However, when it comes to festivals of other religions, that time also rediff should not write India celebrates _____ .
