Fashion industry is a money spinner and belongs to elite sections of society. What matters is administration. Many state governments are appointing MLAs as heads of state run corporations. Why these things are not questioned?

It seems BJP is seeing all government or other institutions in India as a source for giving employment to their jobless blind followers. This will ruin the nation and hence its anti-national activity. The reason for mismanagement, failure to control prices, etc., all due to such incompetent persons holding responsible and accountable positions. I guess BJP needs to rethink about it else their such anti-national activities would backfire for the country and the people.

Good decision
by Aftab on Jun 19, 2016 11:38 PM  | Hide replies

ModiJi always takes decision that surprises everyone like unscheduled visit to Islamabad, going to airport to receive Obama and I am sure that for the coach of cricket team they will appoint some bat or ball manufacturer from ludhiana.

PROFESSIONALS ARE NEEDED FOR EVERY JOB. A CHAIWALA CANNOT BECOME THE RBI CHIEF AND A POCHA LAGANEWALI CANNOT BECOME INCHARGE OF EDUCATION. THEY NEED TO BE EXPERTS IN THEIR OWN FIELD.WHERE IS THE COUNTRY HEADING?

The colour blind and totally bias Paul Theo, you conveniently forget that in this country Chaiwal has become a Prime Minister and he has power to appoint RBI Governor. The pocha laganewali who has worked hard in her life can also become union cabinet minister by a jobless and useless person like you can not have any activities except writing useless comments.

Chauhan appointment as NIFT head
by P S SHAH on Jun 19, 2016 10:33 PM  | Hide replies

Modi government has got an absolute majority in the parliament and they should appoint suitable persons for suitable post instead of painting undeserved candidates just for sake of their loyalty to the party.we already have three jockers who absolutely don't deserve their post. They are Pahlaj Nihani as chief of Swnsor board, Gajendra Chauhan as head of FTII and Chetan Chauhan as Chief of NIFT one way the government continue Raghuram Rajan appointed by UPA government and later humiliate and compell him to leave his job and other way don't mind above three jockers to remain in their post even though they don't deserve it.

Look at the council of ministers. Most of them do not have qualification to be appointed as clerk in municipal corporation.

His highest score in any form of cricket may have been solitary 97, nobody can now question his this super-century ..... in a different field altogether. Neither an eminent academician, scientist or technologist or professional to qualify for the Chairmanship if NIFT [as per NIFT Act 2006], he has done it, totally transparently ..... do what his what his detractors may!
