The action of the government, and the responses we see on this page clearly indicate vindictiveness and intolerance in our politics and in the society. When the government failed to finish them off using the police because of legal protection given by the courts, they are using specious provisions to finish them off financially. Ultimately, this pure hatred against an organization try to give voice to the voiceless will boomerang.

Is she your relative Mr. Thomas? Or your sympathy for criminals against majority community and hatred of RSS and bjp have overshadowed your concerns for law of the land and misuse of foreign funds by Ngo?

Pjilip: Correction. All wrong doers should be punished. Anyone can be accused. Gandhi was. Mandela was. Jesus was. You wanted them punished?

Exactly..in some eyes all these people were also bad..so they need to be punished too right?
The drama played by this ambitious lady at the behest of the Congress party was going on for a long time. Enough waters flown down the ganges, enough blood steams fell on Indian soil, enough mudslinging was forced open to damage India's reputation within and without; but the old songs remain still trumpeted here and there; now it is become distasteful to the public interest! If the reported anomalies of the NGO run by her are proved correct, this lady should be hanged for causing so much of damage to India's reputation. No one should be permitted to cause such irreparable damages. Teesta's political connections should also be thoroughly investigated. If she is guilty, it should not go unpunished.

Sasidharan Nair, You are absolutely right. There are so many other NGOs whose actions are dubious. All of them are to be investigated and if found illegal, are to be banned.
