states where virtual slavery (landlessness and violation of minimum wages rules) is rampant.

And the man who presided over this slave state for more than a decade - Narendra Modi - came recently braying to Kerala (the state that has topped the HDI rankings in India for more than 2 decades without interruption) that Kerala is akin to Somalia in human development !

On being cornered by the media with facts and figures, Modi and his spokespersons attempted to wriggle out by saying that Modi was referring to human development in tribal pockets of Kerala.

But, when sections of the media came back with facts about how those tribal pockets of kerala compare very favourably in terms of human development with tribal pockets in Gujarat and other states (and Gujarat has a much bigger segment of its population that is tribal), Modi and co evaded giving a reply !

Slavery

This is the recorded figure & actual figure may be 10 times more. If not chained/bonded slavery, its different kind of slavery. Labor paid as low as Rs.30 or 40 per day is not uncommon. That is why 25 Crores sleep hungry every day as per Govt report itself. We are planning 100 Smart Cities spending Rs.3,50,000 without knowing what is a Smart City but not prepared to think of 6,00,000 Smart Villages with less than half the cost (with no Village inaccessible, without current, drinking water, hospital, school, transport, drain system, no crowded Cities & Towns with all civic amenities bursting at seams) How can we plan to eradicate poverty or slavery or provide food, education, housing, health, drinking water for the poor? If any it can only get worst because our concentration is only on Cities which are already overflowing not only with money & artificial comforts but also with overflowing drains, choking roads, rusting equipment in Govt Hospitals, roads with pot holes, contaminated drinking water and many more features. No wonder, Supreme Court is intervening in every small issue, reprimanding State & Central Govt for alround failure.

Authenticate first and the publish such propaganda based information. There is no transparency in the information published by the NGO.
