Congratulations to Bezwada Wilson and TM Krishna on winning Ramon Magsaysay award. They are fully deserving and more. Also thanks to people of Philippines for recognizing and honouring extraordinary human beings including from India.
Bezwada Wilson and TM Krishna are exemplary human beings. They are the real heroes of India. Hope more of our countrymen emulate them.
Efforts on a war-footing are needed to completely eliminate and eradicate this blight from society and not a moment too soon. I do not think any society that has this practice has a right to call themselves human!
It is so ridiculous as to how poverty has been capitalised/misused so far - I mean manual scavenging. It is regrettable to note that still it continues in many places. While the govt gives some quota in education & employment for uplifting this group of Indians, a lot of people opposing.
Two eminent Indians. Wilson for his efforts on the fown trodden uplifrment!! Indeed it's a great effort considering Indians poltics and system. tMKrishna for his unique style in Carnatic music.mhe is just not another artiste. A great thinker and highly innovative and energetic ever coming up leader in music!! Magsasay award indeed is very highly prestigious considering over our own national awards given to celebrities from the movie sector!! Leaving out well deserved artisans and artists!!
