Yes. You are right. They have not gone there to fight. They have gone there for Higher Studies in Space Science & Prayers because these specialisations are not available in INdia or else where, in the world.

There is no moral wrong in people living a Salaafi life, as long as they do not interfere with others who do not wish to do so.
Everyone is free to do every thing they wish to do, as long as it is possible for societies to continue to exist with such freedom. Restrictions that are not necessary for existence of societies are unreasonable.
Biologically humans are built to enjoy being absolutely free. Ideally there would not be another human within sight so no society and no interference. When future humans go into outer space they will be able to be absolutely free from mutual interference. That would be the ideal human life.
However humans on Earth have so many children that it has forced them to live in highly dense populations, and the humans are unable to be absolutely free as it causes constant interference.
Rules are right only if they are a practical necessity and not for any moral reasons. If society accepts violence as normal then even if it causes a lot of injuries it is morally correct for them to live like that. Wrong only begins when actions are taken on those who do not want, as it is interferes with them.
It is not possible for a society to exist where all freely violate traffic lights, but societies that do not ban beef can and do very well exist. Indian beef ban is arbitrary though Indians do not have courage to fight it. India is the largest but most unfree democracy.
They all have gone at unknown place and enjoying. Please find out their heaven and inform others so all will flock there for happiness. I think Shobha Worrier will go immediately there. Bon voyage.
