crimes against women
by prabhakar on Feb 20, 2017 10:40 PM

Unless this. male dominated society of India realaises to respect women as their mother/sister/daughter these crimes go on happen only, and this culture should start in home only by parents in bringing up them with good sanskar(culture) and to help them in distress& need how you help your own sisters.if this culture develops in society automatically unsocial elements never dare to harass women in public,as united public ire very dangerous and nothing can face it.Social consciousness&civic responsibility should be cultivated by Indian public.Till then these crimes against women in India goes on even after anither 100 years

Delhi already had a dubious distinction of being on top of crime against women.

Now we know what happened to offenders. They have become lawmakers.

This report is based on FIRs registered.
So UP is looking safest.

And all know that in UP 1 out of 20 cases get registered while in other states it is 1 out of 5 or 4 or even every case registered particularly Kerala.

So you can multiply by 20 for UP.

Yes, this is the reality. As such, any comparison based on crime data cannot but be odious.

Crime agst women.
by WILSON CHANDRAN on Jul 18, 2016 04:59 PM

In TN, people and opposition parties are always blaming the govt for crimes agst women are more comparing previous years. But CM of TN used to defend that TN is a safe haven. On noticing the data furnished above TN be the safest while MP, Rajasthan, Orissa, Delhi, Goa & Haryana are bad. Even UP and Bihar look better.
But one thing had cases not registered under this category? there are possibilities too.
