CONGRESS USED TO WASTE & MISUSE PUBLIC MONEY & RESOURCES (2G, COAL ETC) AS IF INDIA WAS THEIR FATHERS PROPERTY. MODI SARKAR IS CAREFUL IN SPENDING PUBLIC MONEY
Re: Re: ZERO TO ZERO
by paul theo on Jan 31, 2016 09:51 AM
YES MODI SARKARS MONEY IS ALL GOING TO ADANI AND AMBANI BROTHERS , MOST OF THE NEW CONTRACTS BEING GIVEN TO THEM. SO WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?
Obviously, the press reports in April 2015 that the PM had somehow got a lower cost per aircraft by doing a direct purchase is a lot of fiction. The current price of USD 11 BN quoted for 36 aircraft looks higher than even the prices negotiated in the tender ! Both the PM and the French President must come clean and let the Indian public know what exactly they discussed in Paris in April 2015.

by manjunatha on Jan 26, 2016 11:20 AM
hi bro the price they are talking now include aircraft, weapons, maintenance for long time, technology transfer, when they first stared they only calculated the price for only the aircraft no other factors included, and it took a long time to negotiate the tender the cost will go up

But what about the claims that Modiji had magically brought the price down by his PERSONAL intervention?

if we manufacture these air crafts in OZAR NASIK HAL then how much foreign currency will be saved? How many kilometres of land in MIDC is open dumped why can we use that for creating air crafts as part of department of defence production indigenisation project P-15 INS DELHI INS MYSORE INS MUMBAI 6700 tons destroyers

Well, the tender for MMRCA had full life cycle cost as a criterion. The tender price also included all that you are mentioning . In fact in Mr Modi's deal, it's a dumb purchase , no tech transfer at all ! Just buy, maintenance and service. We did not tender for an aircraft without weapons in 2007!
When it comes to weapons and ammunition, I India has poor in-house manufacturing record. We are capable of making a rocket, a missile, but can not manufacture Pistols, Hand Guns, Rocket launchers, Aircrafts, Field Guns etc. etc.
Even the LCF project has be sabotaged in a very systematic manner.
I Think this is a deliberate decision not to indegenise arms and ammunition so that we depend a large extent on Imports. Obviously there is a huge segment in our Politics, Military which stand to gain from such overseas dependence.
India should reduce their import along with increase their export by doing research to make world quality product along with, India should take technology from developed nation to make same quality product in India. Only do more expenditure on arm, ammunition, Aircraft have no logic we need to save money.
