Discrimination can be removed only on paper but not from the minds. When day in day out there is politics of reservation and one up manship to appease a a particular category/groups, others are very much likely to get resentful by the kind of positive discrimination. You expect people to be broadminded and accommodating? Can the same be said of the so called discriminated?I have seen many who seem to boast or take their so called category as a privilege. look at all the sicular politicians. They make news only when it is politically convenient. Otherwise they are least bothered. Their favourites are So Called Backwards, Chirstians, Muslims. Other people are hardly visible to them and they do not matter at all to them???
What we are following actually defeats the objectives of reservation. Nowadays, Dalit, OBC etc have been tags to form pressure groups. This is not likely to work any time. The pressure groups cannot ask for a race in which others will voluntarily drop out so that the pressure group alone wins.
In life, every body has a right. They will fight to protect their right. It is a wrong notion that only some classes of the society has rights created by the policy of reservation. Rather than integrating with the society, we are looking for ways to remain outside, so that benefits will accrue and they can act as a special pressure group in anything including politics.
We need to have a fresh look at the whole process because whatever results we are getting is negative
SC/ST joins as a Govt officer. REport to a boss. 10 years later boss has to report to the junior SC/ST officer. What sort of a policy is Central Govt following. No wonder simmering hatred.

this is absolute nonsense, you mean to say that a Dalit is promoted on the basis of caste ahaead of his senior. While admissions and employment are given on the basis of caste promotion is not.Dalits have been at the receiving end even today socially they are not allowed entry in temples, many parts of the country have still separate wells for them.
Sir, we don't understand what you are trying to say, you mean in all universities should be a care taker for each and every Dalit student? Most of the Dalit students are prey to dirty Left politics
From your Pics, you are looking very HI FI people. From which side you are looking Dalits ? The truth is that, the only community which is enjoying VIP status is DALITS. They are enjoying more respect and care than even our real war heroes. So please introscope yourself before spreadind caste based hatred.

Mr.satish u have narrow thinking so you want that a dalit should never become hifi.Check your ugly mentality. This pic is from new delhi. Having good cloth does not mean that someone will leave his right of social equality and dignity.Otherwise go to villages of U.P. ,Bihar or rajasthan to see condition of dalit.

Agree with you Naveen upper caste people have a great animosity towards Dalits who were treated like Dirt for centuries and even today discriminated against.
