How to keep Republic secure

A superb article by Col Athavle.Having a research organization exclusively for Defence is a flawed strategy. His suggestion to harness our existing pvt sector in various fields to meet our defence requirements needs to be taken seriously.

POLITICAL MISCALCULATION
by mashokan on Jan 25, 2016 05:54 PM  | Hide replies

As a nation our politicians has failed us in many fronts. after the Bangladesh war absolutely everything was in our hand and we were in a position to settle all the maters with pakisthan, however our leaders have miserably failed to take the advantage and opportunity slipped from our hand. today our nation is suffering because of all these failures. under our nose china helped Pakistan to develop nuclear weapons and we were in a position to destroy the facilities without any trouble but our political leadership did not initiate the action and we are afraid of pakistan because of nuclear weapons in their arsenal. A small nation like Israel took action against Iraq. their action saved lot of precious lives. if sadam aquired nuclear weapons he would never hesitate to use it in the war. writer of this article clearly mentioned that the nuclear weapons that is in the arsenal of the pakistan is supported and developed under the guidelines of china. china wants to destroy us but not directly but indirectly through pakistan.

Why are we forgetting USA. this country a so called democracy caring for freedom, turned a blind eye when Pak was acquiring those weapons and is even now trying to control Iran from having nuclear weapons, but doing nothing to take away the nuckes from Pakistan, which they very well can if they want to. In fact it is reported by Ajit Doval that there is secret understanding between Pak , US and China that Pak or their allies will not attack Western interests, in return US will not do anything for Islamisation of Afghanistan with the Good Taliban.
