From 27 Feb 2002 every one attacked Modi for curbing retaliatory attacks following the burning coach. None condemned burning of passengers in coach. Every one wanted riots to continue, but unfortunately Modi did not oblige. Sarabhai's stand was not surprise, as she was with the mainstream media only, without condemning the live burning of passengers. Every one is entitled to own views.

Why bring Gujarat riots here?
by chinmay anand on Jan 22, 2016 06:41 PM  | Hide replies

Article content is definitely good, which describes the contribution of eminent personality like Subhashini Ali and her inspirational sources.

But why there was a need to bring Gujarat riots unnecessarily? It seems rediff authors are instructed to insert "riots" and "Modi" in every article which is even distantly related to Gujarat.

I am sorry. Please read "Mrinalini Sarabhai" in place of "Subhashini Ali".

Insult to Respected Mrs Sarabhai

Dear rediff,

You could have highlighted about her excellent contribution for the field of fine art / dance.

You could have written about the touching story of love between a young scientist from very rich Gujarati family and an extremely talented south indian girl, both are very intelligent and achiever with diverse backgrounds.

You could have just remembered Dr. Vikram Sarabhai.

Please understand there is a life beyond #MODI / and #POLITICS.

No for many in media - there is no life beyond Modi. Without Modi they will not know what to do when they wake up in the morning ...TRP..TRP..TRP

Misleading Heading
by Urvashi Seth on Jan 22, 2016 09:22 AM

Heading is highly misleading.Even though,Subhashini is an active member of the CPM,she has hardly any adverse comments about the present govt.Inspite of that, rediff wants to sensationalise her mild comments
