Terrorists Act
by ASHOK UPADHYAYA on Jan 13, 2016 11:28 AM  | Hide replies

We should severe all relations with Pakistan and ignore that there is a neighbour as if we are doing in our real life.. No visitors from Pakistan should be allowed. We should give hard reply on border. Relations are never going to be smooth with Pakistan better we should leave peacefully. We are wasting energy unnecessarily.

let Pakistani defense personnel get killed in Baluchistan with the tacit and covert support of India like Srilankan Tamils. LTTE got defecated only when India stopped supporting them after the unfortunate assassination of Late Rajiv Gandhi at the hands of LTTE killers. But in Pakistan there should be no stopping till this rogue country start seeing sense with its relations with India.

Not possible to completely wiped out, but pre-cautions are the only key. Mistakes will happen, as everything is not automatic or mechanical.
As a zero tolerance of course we need stricter laws too to deal with such issues.

nothing will change in pakistan for next 6M & why to wait for 6M?? Are we looking for again similar kind of incident? These perpetrators are highly in-immune & have no mercy to anyone. ISIS is a big game plan by US & allies & not going to be settled soon. The irony is India is not having any International Ally & all using it for the sake of their own interest however Pakistan will be well supported by US/China will having huge impact on india & growing economy will back step by not for decades but more than that. These idiot politicians having no vision & action plan rather looking for their own benefits throwing India into more catostrophe

Compare Col. A A Athale with Col Ajay Shukla. Mr Shukla had written a column immediately after Pathankot attack, listing out 101 " mistakes" committed by our Army, NSA Mr Ajith Doval and almost everybody involved.Col Athale is a person with balanced mind. He truly understands the situation. On the other hand, Mr Ajay Shukla, true to his style, used Army's shoulder to shoot at Narendra Modi, his arch rival since his NDTV times.

Well said. Now Govt will be forced to change its style of accepting attacks. Counter attacks will be funded, if not officially may be unofficially.

INDIA CAN ALSO RECRUIT SURRENDERED NAXALITES OR EXTREMISTS OF NE TO JAOIN BORDER FORCES OR ARMY. THEY HAVE SHOWN THEIR FIGHTING PROWESS AGAINST OUR OWN FORCES MAINLY DUE TO UNEMPLOYEMENT. THE MEN AND WOMEN ARE HARD FIGHTERS AND CAN ONCE THEY DECIDE TO TAKE ON PAKISTANI ROGUE ELEMENTS THEY WILL PROVE AN ASSEST FRO INDIA AND OUR SECURITY FORCES. AFTER ALL THEY ARE OUR OWN COUNTRYMEN, BROTHERS AND SISTERS.

TAKING HEADON IS A FANTASY
by chandrashekar nayak on Jan 13, 2016 10:48 AM  | Hide replies

China and USA are the two nations which are supporting Pakistan in spite of Pakistan's role in terror attacks across the globe is dubious. So long as this is the reality, India can not directly attack Pakistan. Covert attack is one option. May be, India and Israel should come together and strike inside Pakistan's Territory to finish off hardcore terrorists camping there. It is certainly one of the best available option. Modi and Doval are visiting Israel in next 2-3 months and some thing concrete may come up.

Pathankot Attack - Lesson to Pakistan.
by jagan nadham on Jan 13, 2016 10:41 AM

Colonel Anil A Athale (retd) has really given an very impressive strategic stand for India to take. Firstly it would be important for the Indian Govt to include such strategists in a panel, take their ideas, assimilate and implement them. Slowly over a long period Pakistan is driving India towards a serious conflict - no doubt about it knowing well the dangerous consequences that may befall on the entire region if nuclear weaponry is forced into use by either side. However, with my limited knowledge in this area, I just want to make a point that this issue or any issue of this nature shall not be seen in isolation - the developments taking place in the international arena like the Hydrogen Bomb explosion by North Korea, change of Nepal's diplomatic attitude tilting towards China, Border skirmishes raised by China, the ISIS, the conflict between the Pakistan Prime Minister and his Army Chief (as appeared in the newspapers), the Pak Army's and ISI strategic moral and blatant support to the terror groups, the developments in Kashmir including POK all have to be considered. As rightly told by Sri Rajnath Singh Ji we shall wait for some time to see Pakistan's reaction upon its assurance to India. This is an individual opinion and subject to correction.
