RIP, Arthur J. Pais, from a fan across continents
by Rishabh Ravi on Jan 11, 2016 08:55 PM

Came to know of Arthur's writings during my 5 years in NY/NJ 10 years ago and have been a huge fan of his ever since! On hearing the news, I browsed through my very well-used copy of 'A World of Curries' (co-written by Arthur) and plenty of happy memories came flooding back. Thank you, Arthur.

Sad to lose such a prolific writer as Arthur

Arthur had been writing for ages and so believed that he must be a very elderly man, which he was not. Sixty-six is no age to go. I remember many of his wonderful pieces on a range of subjects. Sad to lose him.
