A whole truck of arms were kept overnight at Sanjays Bunglow and he was fully aware that he was dealing with antisocial elements. His father at that time was the member of Parliament. He took three guns for his personal use without proper approval illegally inspite having already licenced weapons in possession. Later when he thought he is caught, he tried to destroy the evidence. He was fortunate that due to his influence and connection with the top people he was not booked under TADA. Everyone knows it very well he got a great favour due to one of the top politician of Maharashtra and in bargain his father sacrifice his sure seat of parliament and surrender it to that party which won the seat. Take case of old and ailing lady Zebunnisa, who has committed the crime of hiding weapons and how much she suffered inspite of being very sick. She was forced to report for her imprisonment immediately while Sanjay got time to surrender. Whatever Sanjay Dutt has got relief from the jail authoritied, police department etc is not received by any other convicts.

Sanjay took gun from anti nationals and that too A K 47.Let us not dilute his crime.
What is his fault, is he a professional criminal, or have done anything uncivilised in last 10 years, why such high punishment for him. We know in UP and Bihar illicit arms can be recovered in number of houses.

Have you seen the bodies of those killed on the roads of Mumbai and their families? If you did, you would not be commenting in such an insensitive way

No record of his involvement and he is not a professional criminal. You want people should take gun in their hands due to defect of Police/judicial system.

Having party and frequent chat with aid of Ddawod is not anti national or criminal. Shouting freedom from hunger is antinational. Fascists denounce Kanhiya for Shouting freedom from hunger and supporting this convicted criminal.
why all these fuss? Sanjay Dutt is a VVIP, SON OF SUNIL DUTT, FRIEND OF DAWWOOD, MILLIONS OF AUTO DRIVER FANS, so it has to show that he is important to the COUNTRY? AND THE SAME HAS HAPPENENED. ARE INDIA ME RAHE RAHA HO, LEARN IT;S HYPOCRICIES CALLED DEMOCRACY

Congress had tried their best to nail Modi and Modi is cleared from any of his involvement in 2002 riots even by the highest court of the country. But people like you with bias mindset will not accept even the verdict of Supreme court.

Have you seen the bodies of those killed on the roads of Mumbai and their families (or were you also part of those rioters?)? If you did, you would not be commenting in such an insensitive way
Re: 'Why give special treatment to Sanjay Dutt alone?'

You are correct. If a poor man does this will law will keep quite or Police will keep quie
Sanjay must spend 5x365 days before he is released.Otherwise release 27000 similar convicts. If you show special sympathy to sanjay, you are violating basic human and Democratic rights of Indians.
