A loyal to person who drops out of school at the age of 15 will never understand a learning process.

"Learning process" = staying in the same class for 6 years just like you. :-$
It is a shame that someone who cannot command the respect of students is forced upon them. I could tolerate the Yudhistir character in Mahabharat, but barely. The other actors playing Bhishma and Krishna overshadowed everyone else. But the students don't have such an alternative, they have to keep quiet until Chauhan's term is over. Maybe like the censor board chairman, this man too will prove himself and show the structural problem with arrogant political appointments.
The politicians may not block parliament for this reason, but if they do, will the Govt tuck its tail like it has done for GST and accept the protests? But isn't that exactly what the youth are being told? One of these days we will see a Mohandas Karamchand emerge and emulate his dharnas, but against, supposedly, our own. The politicians must learn to show the sensitivity and sophistication to those who have elected them and not ride roughshod

Yet to see any Principal or Head of Institution who commands respect, look what we read on many posts about Modi-PM -highest chair of India. Institutes are run by system not by individual provided individual fulfill the required qualification and experience. Appears politics is being played in the Institute not training.

Students also choose schools depending upon who is running it, even if a politician owns it. I am proud of my school when my principal gets a president's gold medal.
The Govt. shot itself in the foot for no reason and is now hobbling instead of fixing the wound. This will only damage the institution, at a time when we are wondering why Indian universities and institutions don't have a global ranking. Like all the academic institutions FTII must also aspire to get students from around the world, can't see how this helps

In 68 years the citizens want a global ranking for FTII for the first time. Excellent news. :-)

Yes and yes.
Heard of Parent Teacher associations Parthasarathy?
Government institutions have people appointed based on their affiliation, private institutions have people selected based on their qualification.
On selection of parents, actually yes. If the parents get crazy the society has to provide a child a choice. It happened somewhere to someone like you. How old are you ? :)
a follower of 56 inch is being rewarded because he is not suitable for any post worthwhile. the students of the institute will pay a heavy price for this mistake of 56 inch
