5Just shut down the institution. Neither Gajendra will have a job, nor the so called students in future. Students can become consultants for various appointments- only some one cares about their judgements. Harihar

When political person's were appointed earlier, these students were silent. Why ?
Re: Re: GIVE A CHANCE TO GAJENDRA CHAUHAN
by Pradip Shah on Jan 07, 2016 03:18 PM
This is nothing but politics and agitation is lead by arrogant and over confident leaders like Vikas Urs for who study or careers of students is least importance.I have seen this Vikas Urs on Arnab Goswamys debate show and found to be big mouth and mannerless person who was constantly speaking nonsense all the time and was disturbing and interrupting other participants when they got their chance to speak. Why no one talk of removing and kicking out such leader out of FTII campus ?
Re: Re: GIVE A CHANCE TO GAJENDRA CHAUHAN

point is not political person.. but a deserving candidate ... in BJP there were better alternate than this fellow... Kiran Kher, anupam Kher, etc were any day better than him
This students of FTII are not really interested in their studies . There are many students of 2008 batch who have not yet completed their course. The government is spending huuge subsidies on education of this students. The students has absolutely no right to decide who can be their Principal when they themselves are totally irresponsible and are interested in only agitation and other political activities under their most arrogant and over confident leader Vikas Urs. He has made the bigggest blunder of his life by seeking support of out of power Rahul gandhi and Delhi CM Kejriwal and gave political colour to their agitation. Even after loosing their battle after 193 days of strike, this people dont want to improve their behaviour and attitude. If they still continue their agitation, the govt. should decide to close this institution and the amount of huge subsidy for FTII students may be diverted to some other noble cause.

YES YOU ARE RIGHT MR.PRADIP SHAH.Whether these student have taken admission for political will or for betterment of future. Student never can guide who will run the institute.
Gajendra Chauhan has the hide of a politician. Nothing demeans his self esteem. The man thinks it is his birth right to be FTT chief once appointed (by other politicians with equally thick hides).
Re: Gajendra Chauhan - a true politician
by Pradip Shah on Jan 07, 2016 01:34 PM
No one care what you write. The govt is not going to change their decision for Gajendra Chauhan as FTII Chief, whether you like it or not. Continue your futile efforts to criticise each and every action of the present government.
Re: Gajendra Chauhan - a true politician
by Pradip Shah on Jan 07, 2016 01:36 PM
And you have birth right to criticise each and every decisions of the present government without any merit in your criticism ?

Sahani: Students have birth right to appoint their teachers and administrators? How interesting.
Re: Re: Gajendra Chauhan - a true politician
by Vijay Sahani on Jan 07, 2016 02:06 PM
Student have birth right to expect a certain caliber of teachers and to protest if they are unhappy with the quality of teachers.
In any case, using force is not justified if the protest is peaceful, as is the case with FTII.
BJP has made an ego issue at the cost of the career of the students of FTII.
P.S. : Don't give argument that government has right to appoint FTII Chief. Yes, they have right but it is to be applied judiciously. Not hand it over as a reward for political loyalties.

The students were happy with political appointees like U.R Ananthamurthy and Leela Samson. Then if they don't like this one, they are free to leave the institute.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Gajendra Chauhan - a true politician
by Vijay Sahani on Jan 07, 2016 02:24 PM
If the management is_hell bent on giving sub standard quality of education / teachers, then the student shave a right to protest and DEMAND better teachers.
I'm not too much concerned about who has a "legal" right to appoint teachers.

Well said. Students who make 5 and 10 year plans to stay in the institute will always consider ANY teacher as inappropriate. :-)
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Gajendra Chauhan - a true politician
by Pradip Shah on Jan 07, 2016 02:49 PM
Mr Sahani, Dont argue and criticise just sake for criticism and arguement. If students of FTII are confident that they can remove Gajendra Chauhan from his post, let them resume their agitation again without adopting cheap gimmicks like relay fast etc and stick to their decision to continue their strike till their demands are fulfilled by the government.

Dude, the students have a right to go to the institute of their choice. And YOU will decide who is capable without even him performing. Nice joke. :-)
Re: Re: Re: Re: Gajendra Chauhan - a true politician
by Vijay Sahani on Jan 07, 2016 02:22 PM
Anybody with basic common sense knows what is the level of Gajendra Chauhan. You can keep arguing about "how do i know about his performance without him performing". Well, you don't have to jump into a well to know what will happen if you jump. Gajendra's track record speaks for himself.

You use your common sense first Mr. Sahni and dont just pretend that you are the only intelligent person on this universe. Gajendra Chauhan is not going to teach students. The government has already appointed experts and professors to do this job. Instead of argusing and defending those duffers , advise them to leave politics and agitation and concentrate on their studies.
